Spring time brings hope. Flowers and trees begin to burst forth into full bloom. Fresh new colors appears. Do you ever stop and wonder how seeds and plants know it’s time to start afresh, once again?

The Master of all creation, prepared this once and for all so we can enjoy it. Every spring, only the spring flowers grow. Bulbs that lay dormant over the fall and winter months, wake up!

God invites us into His world, to experience His presence in creation. He is present in every plant that blooms, and in every blade of grass.

I invite you to join me this Spring in daily Bible reading about the presence of God. He has promised we will find Him, when we seek Him with all our heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Jesus said He came to give us abundant life. (John 10:10). Abundant life is found only in Him. It begins with humility:

If I humble myself before God, He will lift me up. If I choose not to humble myself, God will humble me.
When I am humble, I may enter the presence of God.

A Harvest of Blessings

Imagine God our Father, with His recently resurrected Son Jesus seated next to Him. Now imagine the words He so desperately wanted to tell His children. He couldn’t leave heaven and come to tell us personally. So, God spoke to a few chosen servants through the Holy Spirit. He told them what to write, word for word, so you and I would have those words for eternity.

What a precious, loving Father you have!

Listening Carefully To Jesus

Imagine what the apostles were thinking and feeling as Jesus spoke His final words to them prior to the cross. They had questions. He answered as best He could, to their ability to understand what was to come.

Consider: How closely am I listening to what Jesus is saying today? Am I hearing what He is telling me is coming?

Knowing God More Today Than Yesterday

Ever-increasing knowledge of God

We can never know everything about God. Yet, we can strive to know Him more through His Word, every day. The more word we tuck into our heart, the better our life becomes.

Soak for a moment in 1 Corinthians 13:12:

Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.[c] All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. (NLT)

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! (MSG)

Focused on Your Purpose

Steadfastly focused on His purpose, Jesus endured continual opposition. No matter how heavy the load was, he continued to press on. He continued to teach, declare and expose the Kingdom of God on earth.

God protected and prevented Him from being arrested and killed before His time. He will do the same for you.
